House Call Doctor is accredited by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) for medical deputising services. Our home doctors are fully qualified and registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
At House Call Doctor, we have a panel of distinguished Medical Directors that oversee matters of clinical governance to support our home doctors.
Who are our home doctors?
We have a diverse team of home doctors from around the world, from countries including Australia, Canada, China, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Malaysia, New Zealand, United Kingdom and the United States.
Our home doctors specialise in general practice, emergency medicine, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, geriatrics, psychiatry and surgery. More than 120 of our home doctors are General Practitioners with specialisations.
At House Call Doctor, we have fellows in our team of home doctors. Our home doctors must have at least two years of experience after graduation, but most of our doctors have more than four years.
What is life like as a home doctor?
Dr Ryan Harvey is a General Practitioner at a local Brisbane clinic, and he has been a home doctor with House Call Doctor since 2015. He also works as an Assistant Medical Director at House Call Doctor. As a home doctor, Dr Harvey provides in home medical assistance to families. He is experienced in paediatrics and has provided medical assistance to children in remote communities around the world.
